Our Calathea (Prayer Plant) is dressed in a decorative basket cover, Spanish Moss and a velvety green bow. It stands about 14" tall. Prayer Plant is a tropical herbaceous perennial native to the rainforests of Brazil and Colombia. The plant is renowned for its wide, decorative leaves, which often display stripes, spots, or intricate patterns in shades of green, maroon, purple, and cream. Many Calathea species exhibit a daily leaf-folding movement resembling hands in prayer, which opens at dawn and closes at dusk.
